The Most Effective Address for LifeLong Learning: EMU-CEC
Investing in people is one of the most important strategic practices/decisions that will enable businesses to operate effectively and efficiently in a changing and evolving competitive market. This practice holds great importance for countries and societies that have embraced the concept of lifelong learning. There is a need for continuous education centers at universities that will contribute to this practice or understanding and meet the society's expectations for education, teaching, and research. Eastern Mediterranean University, the first and only state university established by law in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, has established the first Continuous Education Center in our country.
The Eastern Mediterranean University Continuous Education Center (EMU-CEC) prepares training programs in line with the expectations of public and private (national and international) organizations to meet the needs of society, fulfilling an important role in providing quality education to participants.
The training programs offered by EMU-CEC also provide opportunities for our university students to develop themselves in different areas, enrich their intellectual knowledge, and closely follow sectoral practices. The lifelong learning approach in competitive markets where artificial intelligence, robotics applications, and unmanned technologies are being used will provide competitive advantage to countries, societies, businesses, and individuals.
Our priority has always been to invest in people. In this respect, EMU-CEC will continue to sustain high-quality training programs and educational activities for the community.
